USPS National Road Cancellation Stamp
After June 19, customers wishing to obtain a special cancellation should affix stamps to any envelope or postcard, address it to themselves or others, insert a card of post card thickness in envelope for sturdiness, tuck in flap, place envelope or postcard in larger envelope, and address it to: Pictorial Cancellations, followed by the name of the station, address, city, state and zip. Or simply visit each post office on the National Road Route (old Route 40).
The special cancellation will be available for 30 days after June 19, 2004. The stations providing the special cancellation are:
